As a pledge of the Delta Epsilon chapter of Alpha Chi Sigma, you are responsible to complete the following requirements in order to continue with the initiation process.

PLEDGE CLASS REQUIREMENTS

everyone is required to participate in every aspects of these requirements

• Write and perform an AXS related song

• Present a handmade, original class plaque

  • INCLUDE: chapter name, pledge class name, pledge class member’s names, and a group picture in business professional attire.

• Organize 1 Fundraising Event as a pledge class

  • Fundraised monetary amount: $30/person

• Organize 1 Community Service Event as a pledge class

INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS

• Pay dues

  • $85 pledge dues

  • $290 one time national dues

    • Venmo @AXS-DeltaEpsilon or cash

• Attend at least 1 Agganis Cleanup

• Attend at least 1 pledge social event

• Attend at least 1 pledge professional development event

• Brother signatures

  • Required to complete all requirements

  • Brothers must initial the sheet to sign off on your requirement

• Pledge Quizzes

  • Weekly quizzes at Pledge Class.

  • An average of 75% on all six quizzes required to continue with the initiation process.

• Pledge Final - on Initiation

  • Pledges will take the Final on Initiation and a final score of 80% is required to continue with the initiation process.

  • Composed of two sections:

    • Chemistry (20%) + Fraternity (80%)

• Library Hours

  • Attendance of 4 library hours/week required

  • > 4 hours of a week will NOT carry over to the following week; however, missing library can be compensated in the following week.

• Group presentations on assigned papers

  • Performed a 10-15 minutes presentation on an assigned paper at Pledge Class to the brothers

  • Followed by a 5 minutes Q&A Session

  • Every member required to participate in the presentation

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Meetings with VMA at scheduled time

• Meeting with Health and Safety chair at scheduled time

• Wear pins at ALL TIMES (except 5 S's - Swim, Social, Shower, Sleep, Sex)

  • All brothers are eligible to pin check everywhere and anytime.

  • Failure of pin checks will result in punishment for the entire pledge class.

• PROFESSIONAL INTERACTIONS!!!!!!

  • No social media contact of any kind with brothers.

  • CANNOT discuss/participate in drinking/other illicit activities with brothers

• DO NOT REVEAL FRATERNITY SECRETS
