Welcome to Alpha Chi Sigma’s fall 2024 Recruitment Season!

 
 

What Is Rush?

RUSH, similar to social fraternities and sororities, is our recruitment season! Over the duration of the first few weeks of each semester, we host a series of Information Sessions and RUSH events that not only allow you to fulfill RUSH requirements to be considered for the next stage of the recruitment process, but also allows you to actively engage in our STEM community in a professional manner.

What are the requirements?

Attend ONE Info Session

Attend TWO RUSH Events

Afterward, you will be notified through email of our application. You will need to fill out the application by the end of RUSH week. Please prepare the following for the application:

  • Resume

  • Professional Headshot

  • Academic Class Schedule

You will be notified of an interview following the submission of your application. Furthermore, we encourage you to attend as many RUSH events as possible not only for us get to know you better, but for you to harness a better sense of our mission and our community. Information Sessions

 

Calling out all STEM majors, come and join us for our Information Sessions! Here, you will be exposed to a little about us as we learn a little bit about you! You only need to attend ONE Information Session. Throughout this event, you will get the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the rush process and the pledging process

  • Have deep and meaningful conversations with brothers

  • Ask any and all questions you may have about how Alpha Chi Sigma at BU plans on operating this upcoming semester

Fall 2024 Info Sessions:

  • Sept. 9th 7pm at CAS 265

  • Sept. 10th 6:30pm at SCI 115

  • Sept. 12th 7:30pm at STH 318

 

Rush Events

 

Ladies and gentlemen, come and join us at our Rush Events! We planned out Meet & Greet, Game Night, Painting Beakers, and Mocktails! At these events you will be exposed to a little about us as we learn a little bit about you! You will get the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the rush process and the pledging process

  • Have deep and meaningful conversations with brothers
