Nalin aggarwal
Master Alchemist
Nalin Aggarwal is senior from South Riding, Virginia majoring in Chemistry: Chemical Biology and minoring in Philosophy. He is currently doing research with BU’s Grinstaff Group to synthesize a chemotherapeutic pro-drug. On the pre-med track, he is a clinical care technician (CCT) on a medical surgery floor at Tufts Medical Center. With a passion for teaching, he helps tutor English to migrant workers with Potencia, STOP THE BLEED classes with support from BMC, and is an LA for the Systems Physiology (BI315/211) lab. Alongside AXS, Nalin is involved with BU Kesem as a Development Coordinator and camp counselor to support children through a caregiver’s cancer. After graduation, he hopes to gain more clinical experience and apply to medical school. In his free time, Nalin loves cooking, traveling, and exploring coffee shops/cafes around Boston.
KYLA QUELLE
Vice Master Alchemist
Kyla is a senior from Middleboro, MA, majoring in Health Science with a minor in Visual Arts. Currently, she is interning at Boston Medical Center’s Autism Program on the Resources and Family Support team, is the lecture Learning Assistant for CAS BI 211, and is finishing up some illustrations for her first publication on the female sexual systems under Dr. Co. She is also the Vice President of Operations for her sorority, Delta Delta Delta. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, biking, and taking long naps. Following undergrad, she hopes to attend graduate school for medical illustration and, eventually, publish her own anatomy textbook.

Moya Priddy is a senior from San Clemente, CA, majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry. Over the past summer she interned at the National Cancer Institute, and currently is doing research in the Grinstaff group. After graduating, she is excited to work in industry and travel Europe. In her free time she enjoys running, going to concerts, and finding new activities around Boston!

Jordan Hoppy is a senior from Lower Merion, Pennsylvania studying chemistry and public health. She is also a Team USA synchronized skating athlete on Hayden Select Synchronized Skating Team. In her (minimal) free time, she enjoys yoga, reading, arts and crafts, and watching American football. After undergrad, she plans pursuing a masters in public health and a PhD in immunology.

After graduation, she hopes to work in the industry in the US. In her free time she loves traveling, watching movies, and taking pictures!

Elisa is a junior from Livorno, Italy, double majoring in Chemistry and Art History. After undergrad, she hopes to go to graduate school for either Art Conservation or Forensic Science. When she isn’t busy with school work, she can likely be found reading a book, watching Formula 1, or taking care of her cats. She also enjoys working out, cooking, and doing crosswords.
Jennavieve Zilic
Community Service Chair
Jennavieve Zilic is a senior from Plainfield, Illinois studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. This year I started a nonprofit called the “Chemistry Closet” that upcycles old lab material for incoming students at Boston University. I also work with Dr. Courtney, a wonderful lecturer in the organic chemistry department, on creating tactile games for improving organic chemistry learning. She enjoys puzzles, fitness, and Pixar. Her favorite Pixar films are tied between Walee and Ratatouille. Following undergrad she will take a gap year and hopes to go onto medical school.

Sankalp Bhoyar is a junior from Chelmsford, MA. He is studying Neuroscience and minoring public health, he is also on the pre-med track. Currently Sankalp does research at the medical campus and works as an EMT. Sankalp is also a part of Potencia. Outside of BU he is also a pharmacy technician. Sankalp loves to cook and read.

Jasming Senel is a junior from Miami, Florida majoring in neuroscience. She is a member of the BUSM Lowery Lab, where she investigates cytoskeletal proteins. She has a passion for education and outreach as a volunteer at Massachusetts General Hospital, LA for CAS NE 212, and teaching piano using the Yamaha Music Education method. In her free time, Jas loves biking, cooking, and playing basketball. After graduating, Jas hopes to attend either medical or pharmacy school.

Michelle is a junior from Taipei, Taiwan stuyding Human Physiology. She is also a member of the Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team. Over the past summer, she studied abroad in Padua, Italy and volunteered as a camp leader. She loves traveling, dancing, taking photos, and watching sunsets. After undergrad, she hopes to attend dental school and become a pediatric dentist or an oral surgeon.

My name is Youngsun Nam. I am a senior, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and minoring is Hospitality Administration. I am currently doing research in Farmer’s Lab in Boston University Medical Campus about adipose tissue. During the past summer, I did an internship at SparkBioLabs under the Sparklabs, managing and researching the lab to support the bio enterprise development in Korea. I will continue my BA/MA in BMB and Biotechnology track. In my free time, I like cooking, traveling, taking pictures, and going to cafes.
