Founded on December 11, 1902 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Alpha Chi Sigma is a national co-educational, professional chemistry fraternity dedicated to providing opportunities for study and leadership, as well as forming friendships and connections among students interested in chemistry and related fields. Alpha Chi Sigma aims to serve as the gateway that brings together students from different backgrounds, interests, and mindsets.
The Three Objects
The purpose of the fraternity is reflected in The Three Objects, Which express the true ideals of all its members:
TO BIND its members with a tie of true and lasting friendship.
TO STRIVE for the advancement of chemistry both as a science and as a profession.
TO AID its members by every honorable means in the attainment of their ambitions as chemists throughout their mortal lives.
