About Alpha Chi Sigma
Alpha Chi Sigma is a national co-educational, professional chemistry fraternity dedicated to providing opportunities for study and leadership, as well as forming friendships and connections among students interested in chemistry and related fields. Founded on December 11, 1902, Alpha Chi Sigma unites collegiate and professional members from a vast range of majors, careers, and professions under the
Three Objects of the Fraternity:
To Bind
its members with a tie of true and lasting friendship.
To strive
for the advancement of chemistry both as a science and as a profession.
To aid
its members by every honorable means in the attainment of their ambitions as chemists throughout their mortal lives.
Brotherhood
“Alpha Chi Sigma has been more than just a fraternity to me—it’s where I found my passions and built lasting connections.”
Meet Jenna Zilic! Jenna is a brother of the Phi Class majoring in Biology (BMB). Coming from Plainfield, IL, Alpha Chi Sigma has meant a lot to her ever since she rushed in the Spring of her first year at Boston University. As the Community Service Chair of two consecutive school years, Jenna was able to combine her love for sustainability and chemistry, and it is where she found so much fulfillment in connecting our chapter to the Greater Boston community. Community
Outside of the classroom, brothers actively take part in community service, fundraising, and social events together all across the Boston community. “To bind, to strive, to aid,” it’s more than what we stand by, it’s a way of life.
